Private Whiskey Tasting @ Yale
Our founder, Rose Jia, will host a private whiskey tasting for Yale Alumni at the Yale Reunion. She will feature 3 different whiskeys (Michter's Bourbon, Lagavulin 16, and Macallan Double Cask 12). The Macallan Ambassador Jeremy Fonicello will delight the group with interesting tidbits about Macallan.

That's right, Whiskey Me Up® is going bi-coastal and expanding to SF. So, for the night, we teamed up with Teeling Irish Whiskey, Black Bottle Blended Scotch, Deanston Single Malt Scotch and Bunnahabhain Single Malt Scotch to give Whiskey Me Up Whiskey Personas™ a night of celebration and revelry . Of course, no Whiskey Me Up night could be without private tastings from the brands and delicious cocktails from Sweetwater Social.

#WhiskeyMeUp some Manhattan Moonshine
Whiskey Personas™ packed the elegant Bar Cyrk in Tribeca, NYC to attend the special Whiskey Me Up tasting featuring Manhattan Moonshine. There, the founder and owner of Manhattan Moonshine, Will Kehler, woo'ed the masses with his handsome demeanor and passionate rhetoric of why his moonshine is the best (which, we would have to say, it was!). Delicious white whiskey cocktails were served. Many new friends were made.

Tons of Whiskey Personas™ ranging from Modern Ladies to Woodsmen mixed and mingled while sipping on delicious Black Bottle cocktails. Ambassador Hal Wolin worked the Sweetwater Social room, teaching people about blended scotch and Old Fashioned cocktails.

Private Whiskey Tasting: Corporate Executives & Around the world whiskeys
Our founder, Rose Jia, did a private whiskey and food tasting with some senior leaders at American Express. She featured 4 different whiskeys (Yamazaki 12, Hillrock Solera, Mortlach 16, Teeling Single Grain) and Chef Carolyn Grifel prepared 4 delicious courses paired expertly to whiskeys.

#WhiskeyMeUp some Mr. Katz's Rock & Rye @ the Shanty
Whiskey Me Up along with Boozemenus and the LOADed Good Passport hosted a two-hour long happy hour special event with Allen Katz, owner of NY Distilling Company and the Shanty. There, Whiskey Personas™ ranging from "Vixens" to "Woodsmen," mingled and drank Mister Katz’s Rock and Rye. And, for those early birds, Allen did an exclusive tasting of the Ragtime Rye, a 3-year-old rye from NY Distilling that hadn't been released yet to the public. [Update: Ragtime Rye arrived on the market on September 3, 2015.]

Private Whiskey Tasting: Digg & Teeling Irish Whiskey
Whiskey Me Up and Teeling Irish Whiskey teamed up to give Digg and other BetaWorks employees a fun exclusive and interactive whiskey tasting. Teeling Ambassador Gabriel Corcoran and our founder Rose Jia even brought props, including sticky notes, pens, notepads, and image cards. (Very startup!)

Whiskey Me Up had our first Happy Hour at American Whiskey with Teeling Irish Whiskey as a feature. American Whiskey offered a specialty whiskey cocktail "Saints & Scholars" (Teeling Small Batch, Appleton Rum, meyer lemon, velvet falernum, angostura, sparkling).

Private Whiskey Tasting: Small Business Saturday Team @ The Flatiron Room
The American Express Small Business Saturday team tried something new with their team outing. Instead of a typical bar event, they joined The Flatiron Room owner, Tommy Tardie, for a special Whiskey Me Up whiskey tasting. There, they discovered their Whiskey Personas™ and learned about bourbons and scotches. More importantly, everyone walked out as a whiskey enthusiast.
